Osmose 49

Overview

Osmose 49 is a standalone polyphonic synthesizer and advanced MPE controller built around Expressive E's uniquely responsive 49-key three-dimensional keybed. Familiar keyboard technique becomes continuous sound control: press, bend, shake, strum, add vibrato, glide between notes, and shape each note independently from attack through release.

Its integrated Haken Audio EaganMatrix engine combines physical modeling, FM, subtractive synthesis, and other techniques with 24-voice polyphony. A large factory library, macro-based sound shaping, built-in effects, an expressive arpeggiator, and external MIDI/MPE control make Osmose equally capable as a self-contained instrument and the expressive center of a studio.
